TAL Scuba Diving own and run a 27-foot Taskforce Hard Boat, called (Dive Support Vessel) DSV Vixen. The Vixen is MCA (Marine & Coast Guard Agency) coded and Licensed to carry 10 passengers plus crew and is skippered by experienced local professionals who are also divers/instructors.

The DSV Vixen’s equipment includes:
2 GPS Plotters, DSC, VHF Radio, Radar, Colour Fish Finder & 2 Depth Finders, First Aid & O2 and a full range of safety and rescue equipment.

The Vixen is normally moored at Christchurch Quay just up the river from Mudeford Harbour. There is plenty of parking with easy access to the boat. We normally pickup from Christchurch Quay or Mudeford Quay but also regularly pickup from Poole Quay and Swanage Pier.

We operate from the Isle of White to Weymouth, which gives about a 40-mile circle with Christchurch as the centre. The Vixen is available for single divers as well as groups and pre booking is essential. We dive on Saturdays and Sundays all year round (weather permitting) and Wednesday & Thursday evenings during the summer.  Midweek trips can be arranged, only requiring a minimum of 4 divers to run – so talk to your buddies and give us a call!!  Angling trips can also be catered for.
